Yoon Suk-one (b. 1983, South Korea) majored in Communication Design at Konkuk University in 2009 and completed his master's degree in Contemporary Art at the same university in 2012.

Yoon Suk-one works on the larger themes of creation and destruction, based on the photographic data he usually records and collects. Convey the impression of a scene or moment on the canvas with the fluctuations of one's memories and emotions. By adding the subjective elements of memory and emotion to one's experience without direct or indirect distinction, the afterimage created by light and darkness and the movement of invisible air are depicted with delicate changes in color and shape.

Through brushstrokes with horizontal and vertical direction, he captures contradictory meanings such as life and death, creation and destruction, and uses the visual implications of horizontal and vertical to create formative balance and tension on the screen. He has held solo exhibitions at Gallery Barton, Cheongju Art Creation Studio, Woomin Art Center, and Chapter Two.  He has participated in group exhibitions at Mimesis Art Museum, Seongnam Cube Art Museum, Cheongju Museum of Art, Dandong Art Museum, and New Museum of Art.

His works have attracted attention by being selected as a New Hero of Public Art (2021), selected as an artist at the 37th Central Art Exhibition (2015), and winning the Dandong Art Prize at the 18th Dandong Art Festival (2016), and are in the collections of domestic and international institutions such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Mimesis Art Museum, Cheongju Museum of Art, Dandong Art Museum, Samgong Korea, Tirocidelleon Collection in Israel, KAIST Business School, SpaceK, and Chapter Two.
